Completed Project

In the frame of BTS-HUNGÁRIA Ltd.’s current project a 490 kW (574,75 kWp) solar power plant has been built at Celldömölk in Vas County, West Hungary. The aim of investors is to generate in the quantities more than 13000 MWh green electricity that shall be passed over directly to the regional distribution company (E.ON) according to the rules of the Hungarian take over (buy back) and feed-in tariff system (‘KÁT’).

This solar power plant is expected to generate over 600 MWh electric power per year on a 3300 m2 wide surface. Such a solar power plant saves nearly 400 tonnes carbon-dioxide per year. It means that for a CO2 emission reduction like this approximately 60 leaf trees should be planted year by year by Celldömölk Local Government Authority.

As a result of the preparation period:

  • 07.07.2015: a 25-year long permission was given by the Hungarian Energy and Public Utility Regulatory Authority to the ‘BTS-HUNGÁRIA Celldömölk’ project;
  • implementation plans and electric network joining plans were elaborated by ‘Szurmai Engineer Office’ Ltd. by the beginning of 2018;
  • 27.03.2018: building permission in force were issued by the Vas County Government Office, with the right for starting the € 700.000 investment;
  • 18.04.2018: the agreement on accomplishment with ‘Szalontai Rendszerintegrátor’ Ltd. has been signed;
  • 02.08.2018: the loan agreement with UniCredit Bank (EXIM Bank source) has been finally signed;

The building works has been officially started

10.08.2018: After lengthy and detailed preparation work a short on-site visit and the transfer ceremony of work area took place at 10 a.m. on the Celldömölk project site in the presence of the representative of project owners, implementers and technical inspector engineers. With opening the so-called Electric Building Logbook (EBL) building works has been officially started. Deadline of the building project is 30th of September, 2018.

Fitting of solar panels has been being started

30.08.2018: After metal frame structure had been built and electric cables had been laid down, fitting of solar panels started.

Security technology is being prepared

10.09.2018: Construction of the fence is completed. The installation of the security technology (cameras, alarm etc.) is in progress.

Mission accomplished

28.09.2018: Around 5:00 PM the solar power plant successfully connected to the electric grid. It is fully operational, it works as planned.
01.11.2018: After a successful test run the electricity production under ‘KÁT feed-in tariff’ has been started. For the monthly production results see: Production data

Use Permission

26.03.2019: The use permission for the solar power plant has been definitive and become final.
